I see another search engine has people pay to get answers and they split the money with so called "experts". http://motorcycle.justanswer.com/expert.aspx

Have you tried this? Did you make any money? Are you going to sign up and try it? Do you think Yahoo will turn to doing that?

I get paid twice, in a roundabout way.
You see, most of my answers are written in between doing other things at my workplace. As I'm at work, I get paid.
On the other hand, I also get the good feeling of having helped someone. Sometimes. There's also the almost guaranteed laughs to be found here.

I see no need to have my answers reviewed by another contributor (who may or may not know as much) before they get posted. If I don't know for a fact that my answer is correct, I will say so. If / when I give an opinion it's not stated as a fact, just an opinion.

That sounds like a scam to me. Anyone on line who promises money or other rewards is generally trying to $hit on you. I prefer to come on here just to give advice and get a few questions answered in return.
It's kind of fun coming on here and hearing stuff like I should be riding a scooter when my job is probably more mechanical and technical than the majority of the guys on here.

Hey Larry

1. No
2. No
3. No
4. Guess what? No.

I think Firecracker hit it on the head - besides, if you were that hard up for cash you could just sell a kidney, or two.
