the basement. my s.o. is a pack rat. he started to organize stuff down there so he has a big pile of junk in the middle of the room. it's been that way for 2 yrs.

My spare bedroom - it houses my fabrics, computer desk (no computer there as I like it in the kitchen), sewing machines, serger, all kinds of books from travel,fact, fiction, cooking,road maps ironing boards, empty cartons- valuable -just in case I need them, wrapping papers, freezer, plastic containers, bundle buggie, soda pop, water and juices. The really great thing about it is I usually get visitors who stay for a few days or sometimes a few weeks every year - reorganizing doesn't take long: the locker room or the garbage bin. Done & finished.

My bedroom sounds like yours- my closet threw up and I can't get anything into the dresser drawers! I do make my bed though- except for today...oops!

The storage, the place I do my woodworking initiatives. something of the residing house maintains to be incredibly sparkling and straightened, however the storage is the place all the mess gets pushed as quickly as we don't decide to handle it.
