Cloth. My old car had heated leather seats - great in the winter. Obviously you could turn the heat off, but I agree with you, they are too hot from the sun in the summer (and burnt bottoms aren't my thing!)

Leather. I always hated leather until I bought a car with them.
Automatic start is a must have when you have leather seats. You turn on the air or heat & start it up 5-10 minutes before getting in- problem solved!!

Cloth,
I dislike leather seats too only because it gets stuck to my skin when I'm wearing skirts or sleeveless & backless shirts.
Don't get me wrong leather seats are hot and they clean much easier but they're just not for me.

Cloth.
Leather is hot in the summer and will burn you if you're wearing shorts when you get in. Leather is also cold in the winter.

I have cloth seats. I remember my dads car growing up had black leather seats. You didn't dare get in his car with shorts on during the summer. Ouch!

I currently have leather and all my previous cars were cloth. Now that I have leather, I am totally spoiled. I love leather and could never go back to cloth.

Cloth. Leather doesn't last long in the heat before developing cracks.
