I feel empowered by it. I find strength in poetry about suicide.
What does this say about me. Take "Hurt" by NIN. When i watch the film clip. I break down crying but arise like i'm invincible.

I got my name "buff" from Dark Poetry - my own - years ago.

I stuck some dark stuff up around uni and when it got traced back to me I got called Buffalo Bill after the "it' rubs the lotion on it's skin or it gets the hose again" antagonist from 'silence of the lambs'

most people don't know that though i either spin them the chilled back 'Buffalo soldier' reggae lover story or if female give em the "naked quad run" packet fo lies!

People like any writing because they are able to connect with it. I do not know what is going on in your life, but you may find it inspiring, or connect with the emotions of the poem. That is what makes great writing great. I love the song hut also, (Johnny Cash also did a take on it and I thought the video for it was incredible)

It's because alot of that peotry is based on sorrow and pain and you embrace it in your life because it is like a ritual for you. It's starts off with one spark and carries on the next from one form of sadness and sorrow to the next. Alot of people will find something they can relate to sooner of later and this is what makes you a deep person.
