Some come with lanyards. Others have holes on the ends where they can be attached to a necklace. Depending on how old your daughter is a flashy looking quality pendrive attached to a pretty necklace might be "really cool":

Buy hare an stick you can hang to your key chain or with a little holder she can wear around her neck.

Just go to any decent, large compouter shop and buy one of those datesticks or mp3 player (is the same a data stick).
