Probably 20%.

I hope I'm right.

About 1% and here's why. The people who vote are about equal Democrat to Republican with each party having about 35%. The rest you can class as independant.

Now there will be very few Republicans who are going to vote for Hillary. And the rest are going to work hard to defeat her. So that is 35% she definitly doesn't have.

There are a lot of Democrats who will tell you right up front they are Conservative Democrats. And that is Conservative first, Democrat second. These folks find Hillary unacceptable and will either not vote or vote against her. This could amount to 6-10% of the total voters.

That leaves the independants at 30%. If the other figures are correct Hillary will have to sweep the independants by a 4 or 5 to 1 margin to win. From what I'm hearing I really don't see that happening.

But what do I know? Hillary could turn out to be a winner in a landslide. The only person you really know how they are going to vote is you. Everything else is pure speculation.

I'm a liberal

I am not a partisan hack like some here.

Yes I can look at both sides.

Based on the current mood of the country.
The hate the republicans and this war against them because of the wars..
Along with the incessant whining from the ultra right and the constant smearing, that I believe the American people are sick and tired of.

I'd say, currently, Hillary has a 65% chance of making it.

I am no fan of Hillary.
She reminds me too much of LBJ
But I'd rather have her in there then any republican candidate, or most of the dems.
To the Ron Paul fans, that guy is a little nutty, like Ross Perot was.

=========
What I find very amusing is all the people that are basing their figures on some kind of convoluted math and the current crop of candidates.

Yet every election I can remember back to LBJ, the crop of candidates was always pretty large this early in the game.

People in America really seem to have a very short attention span and can't be bothered to look up the past. They'll just blurt out any answer that some talking head told them. That goes for the left as well as the right.

Statistically speaking, Hillary Clinton has just about the same chance as any of the other candidates. Realistically, she seems to have the best shot at winning, given the huge amount of coverage and a large campaign war chest, not to mention discontent and disapproval with the Bush White House and the Republican Party in general. If no other Democrat can effectively make himself stand out in the pool, it's assured that she will come out with the nomination and would likely defeat the GOP nominee.

There is a big chance I think. I'd rather have her President than Mitt Romney, a Mormon. I just can't imagine having a Mormon as President but right now Romney seems to gain popularity. Hillary keeps getting shot down I guess because she is a woman.

What are there, 8 candidates on the democrat side? That makes it a one in 8 chance she'll get nominated, and then there's a 50% chance she'll get elected.

So that comes out to approximately a 6% chance, if my math is correct.

I have a better shot at Bill Gates coming to my house right now and giving me all his money then winning both lottos this week and meeting Klatuu for a ride to Mars on a UFO.

50%

50% chance of winning the nomination, 50% chance, if she does, of winning the presidency, so, a 25% chance overall she will be the next president.
