Yes, they taste lovely with some garlic butter. I wouldn't eat whelks though, they're a bit chewy.

Snails are great. Garlic butter and crispy bread. Only chewy if over-cooked. The frozen ones are almost as good as long as you don't over-cook them. What do they taste like? Like snails. I mean what do mussels taste like? Or snake? I bought some when my step-son was away on holiday and he nearly threw up when he discovered the packet in the rubbish - so I don't eat them that often. By the way, escargot is the French for snail - not just the edible variety. You can collect large snails and keep them in a container filled with oatmeal for about a week, so that they purge themselves. Then you can cook and eat them.

I have. It's chewy and doesn't taste like much. It usually comes in a sauce cuz it has no taste. I dont like it a whole lot, but I'd eat it if I had to.

No.....I was going to but I made the mistake of cutting it open first, it just looked wrong.

Frogs legs are just like mini chicken legs though.
