No. You are French.
Seriously - no.
If you think about this way you get 4-6 glasses of wine out of a bottle, depending on the size of your glasses. 4-6 glasses x 3 bottles = 12-18 glasses of wine a week. 12-18 glasses of wine ÷ 7 days = 1.7-2.5 glasses a day (which you could say is 2 glasses of wine a day). So no, I personally don't think 2 glasses of wine a day is bad - maybe one at lunch and one in the evening. Of course, I suspect your are drinking them one bottle at a time (maybe one bottle a day over the weekend perhaps?), which is not really so good.

Alcoholism is a condition that affects every day living. If you feel you live an orderly life that isn't affected by drinking, then it's not a problem. It isn't the amount as it is the outcome. Seems like you don't have anything to worry about along these lines.

Alcoholism is an illness marked by drinking alcoholic beverages at a level that interferes with physical health, mental health, and social, family, or occupational responsibilities.
Alcoholism is divided into 2 categories: dependence and abuse.
People with alcohol dependence, the most severe alcohol disorder, usually experience tolerance and withdrawal. Tolerance is a need for markedly increased amounts of alcohol to achieve intoxication or the desired effect. Withdrawal occurs when alcohol is discontinued or intake is decreased. Alcohol dependents spend a great deal of time drinking alcohol, and obtaining it.
Alcohol abusers may have legal problems such as drinking and driving. They may also have problems with binge drinking (drinking 6 or more drinks at one sitting).
People who are dependent on or abuse alcohol continue to drink it despite evidence of physical or psychological problems. Those with dependence have more severe problems and a greater compulsion to drink.

Alcoholics go to meetings and I don't say that to be funny. Nothing wrong with drinking if you follow a few guidelines:
DO not drive when drinking
Make buying alcohol priority over essenstials (gas, food, diapers, etc.)
do not show up to work drunk
don't become a grouchy drunk
Following these at least will make you the non-stereotypical drunk, like me :)

No, if you drink everyday and you are drunk everyday, then that makes you an alcoholic. But drinking 2-3 bottles of wine a week, doesn't :)
Yummy Merlot!!! :P

Depends. Does the person freak out if the wine isn't available? Quantity doesn't matter. The desire to drink is what makes you an alcoholic.

If you have to drink alcohol every week, ie bottle of something + then its classed as alcoholism.
IE I havent had a drop in 3 weeks.
3 bottles per week is rather a lot to drink, every week.
