Its easy for me, Im not sure why its so hard for others. My lawyer had told me once, that if you lie you'll get confused and eventually be caught. Its so true, but I think people just dont care.*

There are two things required for honesty-1)honest love for honesty and the deep faith that it is priceless and beautiful
2)The will and strength of iron because its hard to be honest in a world of pragmatics(just as above person gave an example) ; the honest face rejection or too much opposition
And believe me none of these two things are so common
Honesty is for the truely honest. pure and brave.Those who are not above petty flaws cant be honest and for being honest too some ability for honest love of honesty is necessary

Honesty can lead to a lot of side-effects including, break-ups, divorces and a lot many problems. that is why people tend to hide the truth . In short they become selfish for their own personal interests.
