found that the entire string doesn't work.. so you look at every bulb, taking it out and inspecting it.....and when you get to the last one, you find it was just loose??

switch to LED lights, they use less energy, not as fragile and last for years


Just wrap them around a bit of cardboard for the next year,
and you will have decades of stress free decorating.

EVERY YEAR! Without fail. Then you remember it was the same thing last year when you made the mental note to look at the last one first, but when you look at the last one first, it hits you when you get to the end of the string of lights, you must have started at the wrong end.

We do that often, then we usually give up and throw the whole string away and go get anew string...

I did that with my tree this year. I gave up trying to find it so I just put up another strand. Aggravating.
