You really need tp explain things more clearly.

Does your TV have a VGA input, and have you connected your PC to the VGA input of your TV (which I think it what you are saying...)

You need to describe this "Vid out" socket a bit better. Yellow phono (composite)? Small, round, with 4 pins (s-video)?

You should use VGA to connect to your monitor then the vid out to connect to your TV.

Without seeing your card, it is difficult to guess what all connectors you have on it. Each card is different.

But if you have more then one "output" from your video card, then you can attach more than one "monitor".

You are going to have to determine what cables you need to run to the different devices because we can not see the card. (Sorry)

But you should be able to do what you want if you have the right cables.

Do you want to see what you do on your pv on your tv at the same time? or you want to see tv on your pc? you need a tv out cable plus another cable for the audio, and you will see the 2 together at the same time.

Are you using an nVidia or ATI graphic card? If you are using one of these, then you're in luck. If you are using onboard graphics then, you're out of luck.

Recent nvidia and ati graphic adapters have S-Video ports or camposite ports intergrated into the chipset, and hence can be easily connected to a television or plasma screen. Simply connect the provided cable to the respective ports and you're ready to configure the software.

Right click on the desktop and go to properties.

*Click on the settings tab
*Click on Advance.
*Now select your graphics adapter name.
*IF you're using nvidia it may show that you have new nvidia control panel activated. In that case you may go to nvidia control panal. If that is...
*Right click on the desktop and select nvidia control panal.
*Click on display.
*Below, you can see multiple displays.
*Click on that and configure.
*Choose clone to display same content as in the monitor on the TV.

The steps should be similar to that of nvidia incase of ATI too.

Hope you found this useful
