Howdy,

As anyone used this "Shelflink" system of attaching 2 X 4's for the purpose of making an easy/sturdy shelving system?
If so - any pros/cons/thoughts?

Certainly looks easy, and it's a variation of dozens of old themes.

As with any lumber built shelving; certainly SWAY can be an issue; but you could CLEAT the adjacent wall and attach each unit.

As the link states 2000 lbs. I probably wouldn't test that statement, and in part; the substance of the actual shelf WILL MATTER. Certainly they're referring to SHEAR weight/ compound weight, and any HOME use shelving should have heavy to the bottom anyway

Certainly it's a decent system for a fair price.
