ken: i think that all information from a media is suspect for me because always subjective.... to have a good information u have to read or watch or listen several channels and of course internet... because even if you can find stupidities and fake information, sometime u have news that normal medias don't want to show us... of course you need to have a lot of time..

Why would anyone who has internet get their news from TV? Do you enjoy having censored news?
EDIT:
NPR=National Public Radio
and
I assume everyone on Yahoo Answers has internet access, so my comment is valid for antyone who might read it. For those without internet access, I doubt they ever see my words. I disagree that it's better to watch all the different channels. You just end up with a higher level of disinformation. My advice would be to subscribe to a reputable independent newspaper that doesn't simply reprint stories from the mainstream. It might be a good idea to search the internet to find such a paper, but there is still some good print media in this world. If you live in France, I'm pretty sure you have access to many fine and reliable newspapers.
Additional Edit:
In answer to your origianl question, several of the folks above have it right, or close to right. CNN is a corporate mouthpiece, but FOX is not Republican. It's the Neocon channel

Fox is a Republican mouthpiece. Roger Ayles is its president, he was some high Republican official, like chairman of the party or something. Remember Congressman Mark Foley, a REPUBLICAN from Florida who did suggestive e mails with teenage boys? Fox deliberately identified him as a Democrat, not once, but three times! It has zero journalistic integrity at all, it is worthless for facts or reality.
CNN comes closer to being an actual journalistic news organization. It is not a mouthpiece of the Democratic party in any sense because it is just as likely to carry positive news about a Republican as for a Democrat, or negative news for a Democrat as for a Republican. Headline News is a CNN operation, it features Glenn Beck, who denies the existence of global warming. His qualifications? None, he is just a talk show host. Thousands of scientists from all over the world warn that global warming exists and its a threat, but CNN Headline News sends out the message thru Beck that its just a fake. Plus they pay way too much attention blabbering about Britany Speers when there is actual news they don't air, the economy, the war, for example.

There is no question that CNN is blatantly liberal. Their debacle in holding the recent YouBoob Repub debate should be the final piece of evidence for that.
FoxNews is more anti-CNN than Conservative. While they do trend towards the right, I also believe that they make greater efforts to usually have opposing sides on. Who can say that about any of the alphabets?

CNN is a propoganda machine for the Clintons. They have no credibility after the last few debates with plants and that makes them liars big time. So, any news that comes from CNN must be taken with a grain of salt.

Fox News is run by a republican, but has many democrats on its staff. It broadcasts mostly commentary, not hard news, and is up front about that.
I have yet to see a republican on the CNN staff, but I don't watch either network very much these days.

Fox belongs to Reps. They've admitted it on air.
CNN belongs to the corporations. Will endorse whoever makes them money.
