I just want to know people's opinions based on how both teams played and how the teams are set up (like, how good each's offense is, etc.)

I think anyone who says it's gonna be a one-sided contest is highly overrating their team. Both teams look like they'll be relatively healthy come time for the game. Florida will try to prove it's still a good team while Michigan battles for Lloyd for the last time.

It should be close but I'll expect Michigan to pull it out.

Donnie Darko: Well, that's an extremely one-sided analysis.

I think the Gators will win this game but this will be an excellent game maybe the best game of the bowl season.

Offensively, the Gators are more explosive on offense. They will be more likely to score quicker then michgan. The wolverines offense jumps starts to late and it will only go as mike hart takes them.

Defensively, The Gators was decent on defense but they far away from last years defense but they will get stops and make some plays. The Wolverines can't stop the spread offense (app state, and Oregon). I also dont think they have the swagger to stop the gators.

But it all going to come down to who wants it more coaching wise. I dont feel that michgan wants it bad enough. But it will be an offensive game Final score 40-39

It is ranked by Rivals.com as the 5th most anticipated bowl game this season. A good way for the Gators to lose this game is to go into it with big heads, thinking Michigan will get pwn3d. I am not discounting Michigan. Florida has a very young defense and an incredibly powerful offense. The raw talent is there on defense, but the three loses we suffered this year wasn't due to our offense, but rather our defense letting teams run up and down the field. If Michigan prepares right, they may be able to capitalize on this. Do I think they will? No. But I think this season has shown everyone "never say never".

My prediction? If you like to watch the Gators score on offense you won't be let down. The Gators will win this one big, but still give up 2-3 touchdowns.

I think it will be a good game but the Gators will pull away in the second half and dominate the Wolverines.

42-24

Besides the National Championship game, I will definitely be watching this game. Being a loyal Buckeye fan.....I certainly have NO love for the Wolverines.....but....I have even more NO love for the Gators; especially Urban Mayer...after the Buckeyes blew it bigtime last year....(yes yes, I did just idiotize myself - hating on Urban but blaming the Buckeyes for losing the game)

It is going to be a helluva game and following tradition...I HAVE to root for the team up North.....as hard as that is going to be....:)

By the end of it though....I'll be wishing both teams shrivel up and blow away LOL

QB
tim tebow -- heisman candidate
henne -- hurt for half the season
*advantage gators*

RB
tim tebow again -- heisman candidate
mike hart -- aggressive, hard to tackle
*advantage michigan*

OFFENSE
gators -- spread/option
michigan -- power running
*advantage gators*

DEFENSE
gators -- average
michigan -- cant stop the spread
*advantage gators*

so, unless michigan can control the ball for 35-40 minutes, the gators are gonna put up lots of points...

I think Florida is going to mop the field with the Wolverines. I hate to say it but it's true. Henne is not a QB - hasn't been the four years he's been there and has not improved a lick. Without a good man at the helm, they don't stand a chance.

If they couldn't stop Dennis Dixon, how are they going to stop Tim Tebow?

This one's going to be ugly, with a capital F. Florida wins by at least 17.
