snaked enjoy sunbathing as well as people do; especially they love sunny areas near pools, so they come to the hotels and sunbathe near the pools, turning this way and that, and having a dip when it's too hot; and the management goes crazy about it, because they didn't check into the hotel and didn't pay?

and if you stay in a hotel with a nice sunning place, you can see humans intermitted with snakes: one human body, sunbathing, 4-5 snakes, another human...

Yes but the ratio is more like 10:1 not 4:1.

There's also alot of penguins and polar bears in the beaches so if you don't like those then you should come in the summer when they're on vacation.

Snakes do enjoy sunbathing with humans quite a bit. If for no other reason than snakes do not have hands with which to apply suntan lotion. At one time there was a high melanoma rate with snakes. Now ,while sunbathing with humans, they trade having suntan lotion applied for drinks, usually margaritas.

Is "snakes" a slang word for something else,?.. because I've never seen a snake sunning himself at a pool. My cat did kill a baby one once and left it by the front door as a gift in the morning though.

What? LOL. Never heard that one before. But I can tell you this. Once my friend and I were in Florida going across "Alligator Alley". A highway in the everglades. We saw signs for Black Panther Crossings, so we get this bright idea to pull our trucks over in a wide spot and sit in my truck and sit and wait to see if we could see a Panther.

Where we were sitting there were canals on both sides of the road full of Gators. We were checking them out, but was more interested in looking for Panthers.

I had some food in the fridge so we made some sandwiches while we were talking and looking. He gets a bright idea to toss some food out to the gators. After waiting for over an hour and seeing no Panther we decided that we should go one because we were supposed to load produce and be in Kansas City in a couple of days. He opened the door to get out and couldn't. Both of the semi trucks (his and mine) were surrounded by gators. We had to call the highway patrol to come out and get them out of the way so he could get safely to his ride.

Not his brightest idea.
