It's not "over-rated" per se - it's just become way too commercialized year after year. It's rushed and rushed and it seems people are so stressed about presents and shopping, that they forget what the Christmas season is all about. I just wish they would at least wait until after Thanksgiving to put up decorations at the stores...I couldn't even find Halloween candy this year on Halloween b/c Christmas stuff was up - geesh!

I hate Christmas! I rate it at a zero! Why do I have to keep buying presents, (more and more each year!) for people who give me something they didn't even put any thought into? Yeah, I sound very selfish...and you're going to say, "Christmas is about GIVING!" So, why don't I get something better?

For the real reason we celebrate: 100
For the commercialism: 0
Christmas isn't about all the presents and things, it's about celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Too many people are trying to take Christ out of Christmas. Celebrate Christmas in the name of Jesus. Afterall, it is the time when we celebrate His birthday, even though we don't really know the actual time He was born. Let's keep CHRIST in CHRISTmas this year.
