i am not married but this is what i know about some friends of mine who are

i am 23, in a relationship, have a bf

23 years old-in the navy,Associates, married for a couple of months
20 years old when married-has been married for almost 1 year:she has her Nursing certificate, his mom is rich and can help them

my dad proposed to my mom a couple of months into the relationship,my mom turned it down because it was too soon,he re-proposes,my dad finished college,my mom was finishing college
she was 23
he was 25

the best age you can get married at is when you have a stable life, job, are settled down, are okay with making the money and paying the payments and taking responsability.i would rather have a 3 year engagement and not go broke or have everything done the first time than not do it at all.

If you want to be married once than I think that late 20's is the best time. Early 20's is not the best just becuase you have so much changing to do and more times than not the marriage does not make it through that. Marriage is a lot more work than people know, just like a car, there is a lot of up keep and maintence. It's not something that can just sit there and be fine. And if you can do couples counciling that is AWESOME! You don't have to go because there is something wrong, you go to learn the tools to keep the communication open.

Finished High School: 18
Finished College: Still working on it [Junior year now]
Got Married: Not married yet and really don't want to be.

I'm 20 right now, and I have to say that I really, really, really don't feel that I'm ready to be married any time soon. There really isn't an age at which you wake up one day ready for that kind of commitment. It just kind of happens when it happens.
