What is it when you get what i can only describe as a spiky feeling inside my body (centrally located) but more towards my back. It passes after a few minutes or with the help of drinking water but is really unpleasant for a while. It makes me almost nauseas and unable to concentrate on anything else.

this has happened a lot usually twice - three times a week for a max time of ten minutes.

The Dr thinks it is nothing?? how can it be nothing i'm not imagining it!

I am male 35 and of normal build and fitness (non smoker).

incidentally, i have had heartburn so have an idea what the burning sensation feels like, my problem feels more like an object that needs clearing rather than a burning feeling. hope this makes sense

It could be a case of 'wind' which can sometimes feel quite nasty. It could also be an ulcer which would explain the heartburn. I think considering that you are posting on here you are still worried about it, so go back to your doctor and either ask for a second opinion OR see a different doctor at the appointment. Doctors do sometimes get things wrong as I have experienced as too does my son-in-laws mum, so son't take no for an answer until you are happy enough

Could be acid reflux. Do you drink alot of drinks with caffeine in them? Have a look at this website on reflux.

Think you should also go and see another doctor, 'it's probably nothing' just isnt a good enough diagnosis.

I would get a second opinion. That doesn't sound good at all. I am not going to speculate because I wouldn't want to scare you, but unless your doctor can explain it away as something else, I would talk to another doctor.

I get that to sometime its happens mostly when i get hot...i don't know if its the same but to me it feels if someone is picking me with a million needles all over my back... i told my doctor about it and he told me to drink cold water or to hold my fingers under cold water...He said its probably hot flashes.

no it doesnt hurt. (unless u go 2 fast or press 2 hard and cut urself!) waxing would hurt and b more x-pensive. the only good thing about waxing is that it lasts longer. yes, when it comes back it will b spikey. and thicker so u will have to shave it often!!! u cant tell the difference between if u shave or dont have any hair!!!

Sounds like you could be suffering from acid reflux. This can cause the symptoms you describe. Recommend you try gaviscon tablets and see how you get on.
