How is it logical to live without fear? Fear has protected mankind for ages. Granted, I know that some people are trapped by their fear, but to have no fear is dangerous. To say that you are not afraid of anything, means (at least to me) that you haven't considered all the possibilities.

Hi there

Any person have natural fears for preservation, which is quite normal.

Let me tell you that I suffered with fear that I actually got anxiety attacks. It something that I am not able to explain to you, but I could feel it coming on. Sometimes when I was in a shopping center with a lot of people, that scared me and I would have an attack.

But with time I have learned with the Lord's help to control my thinking pattern. For I can choose to reject that thoughts of fear or accept them.

The following is only my picture:

There are 2 dogs inside all people, the one a black (fear) dog and the other a white (faith).

So when the fear thought comes, take it capture (that is what the Word of God says) the dog (black) that you feed will grow.

That is why the Lord also say: Whatever is pure, noble ....... think on these things. (the white dog) (faith) if you feed this one it will grow.

Without faith it is impossible to please God....... Heb 11:6

PS: furgetab ........I love your answer great stuff!!!!!

My greatest fear is to stand before my Lord Jesus, and would hear the word ( I never knew You). So my pray is of coarse to hear (come in my good and faithful servant). God bless you all

I fear loneliness. I fear criticism (though only from my family) I fear being a burden to my family in old age. (so I take good care of myself to do my best to ensure this does not happen). I fear getting cancer.
I fear losing the love of my family. (not that I think this will happen). I fear not giving the right advice to my daughters when they ask me for advice. I fear the prospect of a spider being on my skin (as once when I was little a big one fell on my knee and this has never left me) If fear my family being hurt emotionally or physically. I fear war in Australia. I fear for what is going to happen in drought stricken Australia.
Can't think of anything else at this point in time.

i guess you would call me the type that claims no fear, the fear you speak of anyway the fear i know and understand is the reverential awe of God,the fear you speak of is what i would call respect or aware example:i respect a snake enough to avoid getting bitten but to live afraid..God did not give a Christian the spirit of fear...we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us...very good question

I fear that I fear the wrong things, which creates worry that becomes even more fear, because now I fear that I worry too much...

I fear that I may lose my wife or my son. In the normal run of things, they will lose me before I lose them. But anything can happen. I know this last bit for a stone cold fact.

And to be fair I fear my own death. I wish I could believe in a comforting afterlife fairy tale, but... the truth is that only darkness awaits. Terrifying, yet also galvanizing. Let's party, people.

i fear God, out of respect like i fear my parents. and with God i try not to fear other things, but i won't lie there is so much to fear that it is not possible to live without it. mostly i only fear for my family or friends sake not for my own sake. i have faith that God will not let anything happen to me unless it is by his will.

I fear lots of things; pain, harm coming to the people I care for, death etc.. I don't let fear run my life though.

I fear nothing, because I believe in nothing, not even my existence. Ironically, you should fear me, for I am the end of days. For I am a virus created by man to terminate the God program.

I fear dying alone.

For me there is no greater despair. (And yes, I have thought on this.)

For this reason, I spread love and friendship, kindness and patience, in the small hope that when my time comes, someone will be there to hold my hand.
