at the traffic lights, i have seen rats/mice (sometiems 5 at a time!!) running in and out of overgrowing bushes which are about 8 metres long. This is outside a secondary school. I sent an email to the local Council to sort out the rpoblem. Was this the right thing to do ? Thanks.

Theyre horrid - Im sure they are mice/rats cuz ive seen their tails - Id look a right fool if they wer squireels lol but no ive seen the tails an dthere are baby ones aswel

the hedges are about 8 metres btw not the rats!

yes you did the right thing . but are you sure they are rats and not chipmunks or ground squirrels . i have ground squirrels and from a distance they look like rats

Yes you did do the right thing. If you continue to see them, don't give up. Good to hear that the rodents weren't 8 meters long!

Holy Christ! 8 meter long rats! They could eat those poor children whole!
