recipies say quick making oats. does that count as instant quaker oatmeal?

I'm not sure, because I don't know what processes the instant oatmeal goes through as opposed to quick oats. It's likely that the instant oatmeal is cooked some before sale. But anyway, since the cookies aren't being baked, I think it's worth a try if that's all you have. If anything, the texture of the cookies might be a little off, but it'll probably turn out okay.

Yes you can, we used here instant oatmeal for making oatmeal bar yummy...

You will need to prepare the instant oats with boiling water first, to soften.

yes of course but they are really good with chocolate chips and they taste no different then the fattening buttery dough.
