There is no Army Air Corps anymore - it's the Airforce. All US military (I assume you're speaking about the US) is 37.5 hours per week for regular duty.

Military personnel are subject to any and all duty hours assigned. They cannot say "well, I've worked my 8 hours. I'm going home."

contracted hours... ROFL you gotta be kidding. your technically on the clock 24/7. be glad you get the time that you get off. they can only end up giving you 4 hours of sleep.
