Perhaps..because most beautiful grl go for or attract men who are good looking which most are vain....but an "ugly" girl doesnt focus on outter apperances and isnt caught up on it..she is able to look deeper than that..and though she may not get a "hot" guy..she may get one who is true ....

I don't think there are many ugly people at all. It is all in the eyes of the beholder. What one sees as wonderful, another thinks of as plain at best. And we all end up with a mixture of partners. Having a guy is not such an achievement. As my daughter told me... "Mum, girls need a reason, guys just need a place." Hope the cynical view of my daughter is not too off-putting, but there is a grain of truth in that.

Ugly girls might not attract the best looking guys but those guys will most probably stay true to them, as opposed to a very good-looking guy who knows he can get 'any girl'.
If a girl is very pretty, guys will be more nervous to ask her out because they know they have lots of competition.

Well what women see as ugly might not be what men see as ugly. Very attractive women tend to make guys nerves so a girl that is average may get more guys then a very attractive women
