Which country are you from, man?

Of course you can eat food from other countries.

I am a Malaysian and have been to China, Hong Kong, Japan, India and so on. Food is tasty there too. Only difference is the taste that we are not used to. With a little time you can eat almost anything.

Have you never tried anything other then your own ethnic food? Have you ever eaten at McDonald's? That's American fast food, what about pasta like Pasta Carbonara? That's Italian, have you ever eaten Chinese food? Like egg rolls or fried rice? Regardless, even if you think you've never eaten another cultures food when you think about it we can't help but eat it. It's everywhere unless you're a goat herder living in the mountains and the nearest village is 100 miles away, then yeah, I can understand you not trying other cultures foods.

You may have eaten food from another country without even realising it., Indian, Chinese, Thai, Italian ( even a pizza ) are all popular cuisines.
Food brings cultures together and I would love to be an international foodie. Wouldnt you? It broadens your mind and helps you appreciate the fact that we live on an amazing planet.

your question is vague and seems due to the answers above, we dont understand how to answer you..
are you asking if we would eat types of prepared foods from other countries, like mexican food, italian, french, etc?.. well french fries, taco's, pizza, chinese, etc.. are all sorts of foods from other countries... OR
are you asking if we would eat imported products from other countries... .. I would.. I do in fact.. some people wouldnt, they'd think that meat imported from overseas might be tainted or some asian disease.. I just figure if you cook it well enough you will be fine.. I try to try different things just to say I have... but I refuse to eat pork, or alcohol (or I wouldnt eat bugs, dog meat, horse meat, or monkey meat or something weird that came from overseas like that).. but beef, vegetables, chicken, fish.. I would...

Well I myself am from China... and now I'm living in the US. If you're worried about food from there, I can guarantee you it's the healthiest and tastiest food you're going to get. I can feel the cafeteria food from college here rotting me inside out. I'd say American food is the un-healthiest food you're ever going to get! And besides.... what counts as "another country." Apparently McDonald's isn't american anymore isn't it? It's gone global!

LOL I'm American living in Laos. I'm IN another country so if I want to live I have to eat food from another country. The market has grubs and larvae, beetles, bamboo rats, frogs, and ants. But the worst of it all, in my opinion - TOFU! Otherwise, 'local' food is always good!

Yes, you can. open you mind up and stop keeping inside the four walls of your room. those "other countries" are not from a foreign planet now, are they? unless it be religious or some spiritual or metabolic reason that you cannot reason that you cannot consume delicacies from around the world, there in no point in fearing it. unless of course, you're not of this planet. then, yes, you do have a problem.

Yes, I live in the United States, so I have that freedom.

I can read literature from other countries, watch movies from other countries, and listen to music from other countries too.

It's great.
