I'm so bummed out about what happened this past season. I'm seriously considering boycotting the program just in protest for the why they handled things with Jag and his withdrawal from the competition. IMHO, once Jag stepped aside, Rory was the only one left standing and should have won by default. But no, they had to go back and bring back Amy. Why didn't they bring back Paul, too? He was clearly impacted by Jag's presence in the competition. I think the whole doggone process was compromised and I'm just aggravated by the whole thing. Anyone else feel that way. BTW, I've watched Amy's show and yes...she did okay. My kid even liked her. But I can't help but remember poor Rory's face..... I think it was so unfair to her.

In the first place if you watched the final show....Amy was clearly losing...she should have never been there to begin with...Rory was more entertaining and her food looked better....and her cowboy was entertaining too...and now we have the Gourmet Next Door..the most ridiculous bunch of crap...the idea is to have recipes that people at home can follow...she's pretentious and annoying...i just pray she doesnt decide to move to my neighborhood!!!!!!

I'm not so sure that Jag stepped aside so much as got caught out in a huge lie about his background. It isn't fair to blame Food Network because one of the contestants scammed them for so long!

Probably the reason that the Food Network only brought back Rory is that shooting those episodes is extremely expensive and takes more than a little time. Jag withdrew with just one episode left to go. To be perfectly 100% fair to everyone then they should have re-shot the entire season, but that probably was not an option from a time & money point of view, so bringing back Rory was the next best thing.

No, I won't boycott the show but as my mom and I talked about after this happened they will be more careful next time as to the candidates that get chosen for the show.
