Yes it can be (depending on the dose and length of time taken), and is highly addictive. Usually Morphine is not given to patients unless they have a terminal illness or a very severe pain management issue.

In the long run, you bet.
The vast majority of people become psychologically addicted long before becoming physically addicted to morphine.
Depending on the frequency and amount of morphine one is taking it can take months before physical addiction occurs...psychological addiction can be numbered in days.

Yes it is however some people need it.My sister will probly take it for the rest of her life as she has a chronic very painful disease but I thank God for it because now instead of shaking and crying all the time in pain she is able to live her life,Go to her daughters play,drive her car,.Regardless of whether it is addictive or not sometimes its neccessary.

Yes it is that is why it is only given out as a prescription - the strongest drug you can get in the USA - in Britain they give out heroin as a painkiller in the hospitals but not here....don't take it unless it's your own prescription!

it is incredibly addictive.
something not to get hooked on cause its alot more dangerous
than other pain meds. top shelf pain killer
member of the opiate family as well as heroin
