Is it bad to have sex on the first day of your period?

I know it sounds nasty but me and my boyfriend love eachother and are really close so it doesn't bother us but is it bad to do it at all??? and could you get pregnant?

Yes you ninny you can get pregnant every time you have sex, even if you're on your period. No there is nothing wrong with having sex on your period if you still remember protection and some towels.

Yes, you can get pregnant! Even if you are not ovulating the day you have sex, you can still most definitely get pregnant.

When people think about making a baby, they imagine the sperm finding the egg on the same night the couple has sex. But often, it doesn't work that way. Sperm can live in the female body for about a week. So, simply put, if he puts sperm in your body *once* and then you ovulate later in the week, you can become pregnant.

Yes, that means that you can be sitting in class and conceive a child at the same time the teacher calls roll, even if you haven't even *seen* your boyfriend in a week.

I strongly recommend that you and your boyfriend buy some books about human reproduction and study them. You will find out some surprising stuff that is actually quite commonplace. If you and or your BF have had sex with other people, I even more strongly recommend that you read a book on STDs. (Sounds scary, I know. But most of them are cureable and what you *don't* know can hurt you more.....)

I wish someone had given me that advice. Because when I got to college I started learning a lot of stuff that someone should have told me years ago. And it scared the tar out of me because I was like, "WHAT?!" because some of the things I could have done may have gotten me into big trouble and I wouldn't have even known it.

Well, I know if you are on birth control you are covered during this time. I would assume you can still get pregnant, but I am thinking it's not as likely as other days because I do know that the 14th day of your cycle and a day or so before and after are the highest days of concieving.

its fine. if neither of you care, then there is nothing wrong with it. no health-related side effects or anything. and you less likely to get get pregnant during your period because your body does not have an egg ready for fertilization. it was pushed out of your body just before your period started. at least that was what i learned

ITS OK TO HAVE SEX DURING UR PERIOD.. ;-) its just messy though..

if you really dont want to get pregnant.. the best time to have sex is during your period.. when you have your period, it means that you dont have egg cells sitting in your tummy waiting for a sperm to hit it and become a baby.. ;-)

u wunt get pregnant when u have sex during ur period. but there's not gurantee. to get pregnant, the "very period" is a few days after ur menses. but u noe, u cant confirm that u wouldnt as things happened!

man that is just kinda nasty.. i dont really think its bad... one of my friends did it to my other friend's sister's bed at a party!! That was a pretty disgusting night!! I think your chances of getting pregnant are actually lower.

yes you can still get pregnant, and its not a bad thing to do as long as you dont mind the blood....it actually soothes the pains so im told

is it bad? it really depends on what you consider bad... if you consider getting pregnant bad... then yes. because it is possible. my friend is a 4th year med student and says she see's it all the time. so be careful. dont be a fool. wrap ur tool.
