I have a big problem. I attract flies. These flies are very small, they look like gnats and fruit flies. They dont bite at all, but they fly around me all the time. Ive had this problem for 3 years now. I take showers daily, am clean. I feel like Ive been cursed. Ive seen a doctor, the doctor told me they are probably mosquitos ( but they are not )
Help me please.

Do you drink a lot of alcohol? or sweet things? I had the same problem when I drank. I loved whine zinfandel wine and I had gnats/fruit flies follow me everywhere. It could be you & your floral perfume too. The way you personally (your scent) mingles with the fruity floral scent of perfume or lotion. I haven't been able to drink for several years due to some arthritis meds I've been on for a while (both too much for my liver) I noticed the flies/gnats when I had drank wine every day for a few days. I think it's just in your body odor. Just like some people smell like garlic if they eat it a lot.
So, change to a non-fruity/floral scent of perfume and lotion. Also, cut down on drinking. All alcohol turns into sugar in your body, so.....
good luck! Remember, they say Avon's 'skin so soft' lotion repels flies and such. So if it's your lotion, get the un-scented, regular, skin so soft. My mother in-law was an avid golfer and put Snuggle brand dryer sheets (torn into smaller pieces) in her socks, bra, etc and swore it repelled flying/hovering insects and made you smell clean too.

To much sugar intake in your diet might be excreted from your sweat glands. Are you diabetic?....The breakdown of some sugars might not be properly synthesized within your body. Fruit flies are attracted to the scent of some fruits and some vegetables. Try to catch and retain a specimen and have the insect dissected and analyzed at a lab. Some perfumes and ointments are scent trails for yellow jackets and wasps and flies.
If this does not cure the problem I believe a blessing of the house and a priest is needed (LOL), only kidding...Hey you never know!
Garlic in the capsule form is another alternative to ward off the evil things!
God Bless and hope all is good.
Have a blood test preformed with your Medical Doctor to see all levels, to conclude a possible explanation. A CBC (complete blood count), and a urinalysis is required.
Take care, Happy holidays

Also, try collecting a few of these bugs, keep them and bring them to a doctor or homeopathic doctor. Dead or alive they might be able to get a better insight as to why they're around you.
I've noticed that when I eat some things, sometimes I'll get like little gnats too. But it's only once in a great while.

The first thing to do is to look for the cause of the problem. Can you have a check-up if you are diabetic? Can you also check the shampoo, conditioner, soap, perfume, cosmetics, etc. which you are using? The ones you are using might be attracting these insects. Are you staying in one area? If so, you may check also if your surroundings are clean.

Change your diet, your brand of soap, your colognes. Don't do them all together, try each one separately. Perhaps you can pinpoint the problem.
In the meantime, try to catch a couple for the doctor to see. He may not be taking you seriously. Mine has a way of smurking when he is told something that is hard to believe.

It sounds like something in your diet which is permeating through your skin that attracts them. Try using a personal repellent that is a lotion so you get the benefit of moisture as well.
Apart from that, maybe research what foods they are attracted to and try to eliminate it from your diet.
hmmmm....hope this helps.

Try changing your diet. Odors and aromas of some foods (garlic for example) are released through our pores. Perhaps you smell very sweet!
