Yes to all. I always bring an empty plastic bottle for the flight attendants to fill with water on the plane. Also, I believe the rule is that you are allowed one carry-on piece of luggage plus on personal item (purse, handbag, laptop case, briefcase, etc.) I believe the personal item has to be smaller than 12"x12", but I'm not sure. There are sites online that tell you all the rules, though.
