Well, it is often claimed that the prophecies there are accurate... Please list all of the prophecies that have come true that aren't insanely vague. (This should be an easy 10 points, right?..)

Just for the record, there has been at least 1 war per decade since humanity abandoned our hunter-gatherer roots... You just hear about the recent ones a lot more...

While I'm at it, since I commented on the wars, I'll finish...
There on average are always many earthquakes in the Bay Area, the majority of these just happen not to be able to be felt (honestly... I haven't felt one of these you mention). This is just a natural consequence of being built around several fault lines.
-Starvation and disease aren't much more prevalent than they were in the past, media just conveys them better these days... There is a little change, but that comes as a consequence of population growth.

The first response is a joke. No prophecy of a flood has come true because there has not been one. But for sheer breathaking silliness, Simon P's response will be hard to top; it is obvious that you can't use biblical reports of events as confirmation of biblical prophecy. For a good discussion of prophecy generally, see:

The return of the Jewish people to their homeland.
Here’s a verified, specific, uncontrived and fulfilled prophecy.
“They will fall by the edge of the sword and be taken as captives to all the Gentiles; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” – Luke 21,24
Jesus made this prophecy around 32 AD. The gospel of Luke was written between 57-60 AD. Jerusalem was trampled and set on fire by Roman soldiers under general Titus in AD 70 and totally destroyed during the second Jewish revolt in 134 AD. Other armies, notably Islamic, have destroyed the city after each rebuilding. The time of the Gentiles (that’s us) have therefore been fulfilled. The last part of the prophecy, ‘until the time of the Gentiles,’ has also come to pass. The Jewish people returned to their homeland after World War II and established the nation of Israel.
Only a few prophecies remain unfilled and Jesus will return in glory.

simon p's answer is actually more accurate than people are giving him credit for. The destruction of Jerusalem and of Babylon are well-known and UNDISPUTED historical facts.
Anyone who says that they're only talked about in the Bible needs to study their ancient history a bit more. Okay, a LOT more.
Also, anyone who says that these prophecies weren't written until after the fact, how do you then explain specific prophecies that were fulfilled in the last thousand years? The formation of Israel in 1948 was fulfilled in FULL according to the prophecies in the Old Testament. Are you going to try to say that those prophecies weren't written until 1949, although copies of those same prophecies date back to before Christ? Give me a break.
Here is a link to 85 biblical prophecies that were fulfilled. Some of them (maybe half) were fulfilled in the Bible, but many others are well-known historical facts (such as the ones concerning Alexander):
http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Miscellaneous/nonmessianic.htm
Yes, I'm well aware that it's biased, but do you have ANY idea how hard it is to find specific things like this on the internet? Seriously, try typing in "fulfilled biblical prophecies" in your search engine and see how many results you get.
I'll be back with some more, as soon as I weed out another hundred or so of them.
Here are four more (regarding the formation of Israel):
Israel will exist as a nation in the latter days:
Read Ezekiel 37:1-14 to see this prophecy, which was fulfilled in 1948.
Israel's birth as a nation will have happened in one day:
Fulfilled on May 14, 1948 as seen in Isaiah 66:8: "Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once?"
Israel will be in possession of Jerusalem (has been since 1967):
This happened as a result of the Six-Day War in 1967. The capture of Jerusalem was critical from a prophetic standpoint as the Antichrist will someday enter a rebuilt Holy Temple that will be standing in Jerusalem at the midpoint of the Tribulation Period where he will declare himself to be God. This event, referred to by most as the abomination of desolation, is documented in Daniel 9:27 and Matthew 24:15.
Israel will be surrounded on every side by enemies:
Psalms 83:4: They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
The possession of Jerusalem will be the source of international conflict:
Is this happening today or what? It's a HUGE sign to us! Zechariah 12:3: And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
It's from another biased website (http://www.rapturealert.com/signsofhiscoming.html), but as I said before, nonbiased is IMPOSSIBLE to find so far.
I'll be back with more in a little while.

Manuscript Evidence. There are way more copies of the biblical manuscripts, with remarkable consistency between them, than there are for any of the classics like Plato, Aristotle and Socrates. "There is no body of ancient literature in the world which enjoys such a wealth of good textual attestation as the New Testament." F.F. Bruce, The New Testament Documents: Are They Reliable?
Archaeological Evidence. Again and again archaeological discoveries have verified the accuracy of the historical and cultural references in the Bible. The more they dig, the more it confirms the Bible. “It is important to note that Near Eastern archaeology has demonstrated the historical and geographical reliability of the Bible in many important areas.” E.M. Blaiklock, The New International Dictionary of Biblical Archaeology.
Eyewitness Accounts. The Bible was written by people who witnessed the events it describes; many were persecuted or martyred but never changed their story. Would you die for something you knew was untrue? “It is no moderate approbation of Scripture that it has been sealed by the blood of so many witnesses, especially when we reflect that they died to render testimony to the faith …with a firm and constant, yet sober, zeal toward God.” John Calvin, Institutes of the Christian Religion.
Corroborating Accounts. There are plenty of references in non-biblical sources to the events described in the Bible. The Jewish historian Josephus, born in 37 AD, “provide(s) indispensable background material for the student of…New Testament history. In them, we meet many figures well known to us from the New Testament. Some of his writings provide direct commentary on New Testament references.” J.D. Douglas, ed., The New Bible Dictionary.
Literary Consistency. The Bible contains 66 books written over 1,500 years by 40 different writers but it tells one "big story" of God's plan of salvation that culminated in Jesus Christ. You can't even pass a secret around a circle of 12 people and get the same message at the end. “There is indeed a wide variety of human authors and themes (in the Bible). Yet behind these…there lies a single divine author with a single unifying theme.” John R.W. Stott, Understanding the Bible.
Prophetic Consistency. There are over 300 specific prophecies in the Old Testament that are fulfilled in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in the New Testament. “The very dimension of the sheer fulfillment of prophecy of the Old Testament Scriptures should be enough to convince anyone that we are dealing with a supernatural piece of literature….God has himself planted within the scriptures an internal consistency that bears witness that this is his Word.” R.C. Sproul, Now That’s a Good Question.
Expert Scrutiny. The early church had extremely high standards for what books were judged to be authentic and therefore included in the Bible. A book had to have been written by an Apostle or someone in their immediate circle, had to conform to basic Christian faith and had to be in widespread use among many churches. This was a careful process of “the people of God in many different places, coming to recognize what other believers elsewhere found to be true”; these writings were truly God’s word. G.J. Wenham, J.A. Motyer, D.A. Carson and R.T. France, The New Bible Commentary.
Leader Acceptance. A majority of the greatest leaders and thinkers in history have affirmed the truth and impact of the Bible. "I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given man. All the good from the Savior of the world is communicated to us through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong.” Abraham Lincoln.
Global Influence. The Bible has had a greater influence on the laws, art, ethics, music and literature of world civilization than any other book in history. Can you think of one that even comes close? “Christianity”, as set forth in the Bible “is responsible for a disproportionately large number of the humanitarian advances in the history of civilization—in education, medicine, law, the fine arts, working for human rights and even in the natural sciences….” Craig L. Blomberg, in Christian Apologetics: A Comprehensive Case for Biblical Faith.
Changed Lives. From St. Augustine to Martin Luther to Joni Eareckson Tada to countless everyday men, women and children, the words of the Bible have transformed lives unmistakably and forever. “As unnamed masses of Christians down through the ages have shown us, the Bible is the most reliable place to turn for finding the key to a life of love and good works.” T.M. Moore, The Case for the Bible.
I hope this list helps you become more confident about the Bible. But don’t forget: whenever you have an opportunity to defend God's Word, be sure to “speak the truth in love” (Eph. 4:15). No one listens to an angry Bible reader. (If I missed any reasons that are important to you, please add them in the comment section below. I'd love to hear from you.)

Just to respond to the person above me with all of those fantastic doctorate proofs, most of that is absolute and complete bull. The biggest issue I have is with your "probability" factors, simply because theyre made up. Ross is absolutely famous for adding imaginary values to his studies, citing methods of evaluation that are cryptic and unexplained even to his closest partners. Many of those "prophecies", as well, are inversely predicted- the establishment of the 9 Suburbs in Israel/Palestine, for example. These 9 sections were established solely because those in charge of dividing the land wanted to fufill the prophecy, not because they were destined somehow in the past to do it. If youve already got a plan laid down for you, youre going to use it. Honestly, Ross is an example of a theolgian who uses his degree to give false credibility to historical arguments highly debated and often unsound in all regards.

the prophecy of the flood in genesis 6 is an example. God explains his reasons for the flood, gives specific instructions for noah to build the ark to preserve lives, then produces this first great worldwide catastrophe. God even prophesied that he would never do it again
in our lord’s own prophecies, in matthew 24, he spoke of wars, famines, earthquakes, persecutions, apostasy and betrayals and finally of his own return, unexpected and widely rejected today
