Interesting. Can you show evidence that the biblical prophesies have come to pass?
EDIT: you're citing a single, unsubstantiated web page? More please. really, look up "proves", "proven" and all variations of the word in the dictionary. Then show me proof. Also, don't send me to a web page. Argue your case for yourself, don't expect others to argue for you.

"They say" a lot of things . They are all half truths at best . Most of thetime they are outright lies or misintepetations . Not to mention a lot of the prophesies were written AFTER the fulfillments !
Your examples fall under the heading of self fulilling propercies . For example "1. The people of Israel again would be a united people"
The Jewish leaders were encouraging the people to unite by making this prophesy . Furtermore it would either be a fulfilled prophecy or a "waiting to be fulfilled prophecy" . Not an unfulfilled propecy as long as there were Jews on earth . Also there were only two choices : fulfilled or not yet fulfilled making the odds 50-50 . And when you add this to all the unfulfilled prophecies of the Bible , the Biblical prediction rate is very poor for the fulfilled vs the not yet (lol) fulfilled . Then add in alll those prophecies that were made after the event actually happened , and all those "prophecies" that are so vague they could mean many things and you have a book that is just as much a work of fiction as the Qu'ran .

'the proven prophecies of the bible'?
'most have already happened'?
Nothing like stretching facts to fit into your prophecies. Even in the example you give it list 10 prophecies as coming true when in really it deals with Israel returning as a nation, not a huge leap of faith there.
Many others can easily be explained since most happened prior to the bible even being written, or re-written, and could have easily been placed after the fact. Many others are merely a matter of interpretation with no direct correlation.
Overall I think you'd be hard pressed in showing how any of the bible prophecies have even remotely been accurate.

Do you mind give an example?
-------
You call that example?
I prophecies, you will die one day .....
If you do not die, the prophecy hasn't fulfill itself, yet.
If you die, I am right.
I prophecies, one day a dreaded disease will roam the Earth once more and wipe off many people.
If no dreaded disease happen, then the prophecy is awaiting it's fulfillment.
If some serious diseases starts, then the prophecy fulfill itself.
I prophecies this Earth will be burnt in fire and all shall be lost.
Please see above .....
You get my point now?
Anyway, if you read the Torah, there is nothing regarding a prophet coming down to Earth to save the gentiles. It was added later part in the bible, so Emperor Constance can make it look like a more authentic religion to fight the pagans with. Who will want to bow to a religion who will save the Jews only?

No prophecy in the Bible has ever been proved to have come to pass.If it had it wouldn't be called faith, would it?Many of these so called "prophecies" were predicted after the events occurred and many other prophecies are so vague that they can be and have been applied to virtually any point in history for virtually every occasion from the time of the persecution of Christians to the Dark Ages to the Renaissance to WW1 and WW2 to modern days. So, there is nothing in the Bible that has ever been proved as being 100% verifiable prophetic.

Islam didn't exist at the time of the events of the Bible, kid. Where in it is the word Muslim used, exactly?
Lol at this whole post. Notice how all of those had to do with Israel and nothing to do with the rest of the world. How convenient. Also, it's been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that snakes don't talk.

Wait what?
The prophecies in the bible... already happened? WOW! You have a convert in me!
No, not really. Nice try. "Proven that the Bible's prophecies are more accurate than any other prophecies?" That's probably one of the stupider statements I've read tonight.

Fellow Christians,
Remember to not cast pearls before swine. You are talking to deaf ears. If an atheist has an HONEST question then by all means answer them. But usually they are just baiting you to try to mess with you. I guess they get some kind of kick out of wallowing in the mud. They just cannot comprehend the way a Christian approaches their fellow man and life in general. That is with a love and pure heart that wants to truly help and serve. It's funny, because so many atheists are liberal and claim to be peaceloving tolerant people. Yet most of the questions they post and the way they approach life and people teems with negativity, hatred, and a what's in it for me attitude. Even the things they do to help people usually are more about making themselves feel like good people than about ACTUALLY doing any good.

What version are you reading? The bible is revised like a million times a year, it's all bullshit.
And anything that you might find in the original that might actually coincide with today's events is because it's a bunch of vague crap that can be applied to anything and still appear to hold meaning.
