First, you should decide what kind of job it is that you wish to have while in China and what are your motivations for wanting to work here.

Second, you should also decide which area of China you want to live and work in.

You could easily find a job teaching English at many schools
in most of China's provinces at a University, public school, or private training centre. The pay will probably seem ridicuously low for someone with a Masters in Business.

If you are seeking employment related to business or computer science, then you should try to find employment opportunities with U.S. companies with offices in China that need people to do jobs that require your specific skills-set, but which can not be provided by local recruitment..

There are millions of Chinese Computer Science and Masters of Business degree holders who are looking for jobs in those fields, so it is highly unlikely that a Chinese company would hire you, a foreigner.

Many foreigners working in China don't speak Chinese, so that isn't a worry.

Just a warning, if you do want to work in China, be aware that some companies will ask you to come and work on an L or F visa. That is illegal.

I would suggest that you apply for a position with an American firm that wants to send you to China. The advantage being that you will get a better work contract and security.
Alternatively you can find expat jobs online, look through job sites. Just keep in mind that there are hundreds of thousands of Chinese BA, BScs, BITs and MBA's looking for work too. They will take a job for less than you can earn working at a local bar in US.
As for teaching English, its not hard to get a job. The companies here will hire any moron that can string together a word of 2 syllables, stay sober, most of the time, and not try to couple with every girl in their class.
The pay is lousy by Western standards, but higher than local teachers get, which can cause resentment. However it IS a way to get into the country and that gives you time to sound out other options. Just beaware that contracts mean nothing the day following signing. The visa dodge is common knowledge, ie arrive on a tourist 'L', or a business 'F'. What you should get is a 'Z'. Which is not hard to get either, everyone is 'connected' or so they say.
That is until you need something, then it has to come out of your pocket. 'User Pays' is the mantra here.

As long as you have a bachelors degree you can get the right working papers. Browse the esl websites for jobs teaching English, Computers, or Business. Beware of private language schools as most don't actually have authorization to hire foreigners.

The tough part is getting a well-paying job.

Good luck!

None to nothing..... English is good, but what use is it if most of the people won't understand it.

Turn it around..... what would a high educated Chinese have in the US without the language?

Go to www.eslcafe.com or www.thebeijinger.com and you can find jobs teaching English. It's important to negotiate your salary and make sure nobody's ripping you off. Finding private tutoring jobs is easy, too. Also sometimes people look for "foreigners" as actors/models.
