94% of the abortions performed in the world today are for reasons other than the life of the mother being at risk. the vast majority of instances can be qualified under "a woman and/or her partner decide they don't want the baby they have conceived." this is an utmost evil. even in the more difficult 6% of instances, abortion should never be the first option. the life of a human being in the womb is worth every effort to allow a full-term birthing process.

Every reason is wrong for having an abortion. An abortion murders a human being. Is there ever a good reason to do that? And these are the smallest among us. Have you seen the aftermath of an abortion? Little feet and hands and a gawking little dead face lying there in the dish. Skin burned by saline and then all limbs severed before crushing the skull and sucking it out. Please, you must be kidding when you ask this question. God condemns murder and murderers. He tells us to protect those that cannot speak for themselves, and if you are a Christian then you must do all you can to stem the tide of such evil. Christ compels you, and hopefully your conscience complies.
The absolute only reason an abortion should ever be considered is when the mother will most assuredly die in labor. If that is the most certain prognosis, then the doctor is obliged to save one or the other, and the mother takes precedence. She is established and is also a mother to others, a wife, a sister, etc. This is the most unfortunate decision ever made because death is the sure result.

Well, from experience, I can tell you that every reason to have an abortion is wrong. The need to justify an abortion says it all! You do not need to justify something that you are doing that is right, but because so many people feel the need to justify abortions, that tells me that they are wrong! I had an abortion and although I deeply regret it and am saddened by my utter disregard of human life, I can't justify it... It is what it is!

ALL reasons. There is no excuse for the stopping the heart of a living baby- yes that child's heart is beating at 3 weeks after conception and NO woman knows that they are pregnant that early. Some will say, what if the woman is raped? The man that raped the woman should be punished , the baby should not be put to death. What about the health of the mom? I know a few woman who were told this, and decided to carry their babies to term, and both the moms and the children are fine. There would not be any reason to kill a child once born, so there is no reason to kill an unborn child. Unborn does not mean no life.

I think abortion is always wrong. Coming from a policy that the U.S. Constitution states: "Right to life liberty and pursuit of happiness" Now a baby being killed has no say as to what happens to him/her. Certainly we are depriving a baby of life. Think about it. Out of all the millions of babies aborted, one of them could have brought our nation to peace.

I hate it when ignorant people keep getting pregnant and have abortion after abortion as a means of birth control. No, I'm not Christian, I am intelligent.

Good answer Ultra!
I think another bad reason to do it is because you're afraid of being "caught" or getting in trouble. One shouldn't let fear of a lecture pressure them into aborting their child.

i believe abortion should be used in medical and rape circumstances.
i think a wrong reason to have a abortion is because a baby doesn't fit into your life at the moment or you didn't use contraception and ended up pregnant.
i have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years now, and maybe i won't happen for me, i'd love to adopt but the truth is people rarely give up babies they give up children, who are scarred by knowing their mommy didn't want them, and even though i'd be open to a older child may people are not

If you believe the child might be gay or lesbian ... THAT would be the wrong reason to have an abortion.
Although I'm sure a lot of Christians would disagree.

If somebody doesn't try to NOT get pregnant and uses abortion as a 100% birth control method.
If people abort for other reasons other than "I couldn't afford to try to not get pregnant", I see no reason it's "bad"
