its not bad, I was running above 5:40 in 8th grade and at my peak was under 4:30, so you are on the right path.

It sounds good to me. It could be spectacular, depending on how long you've been training, how much you weigh and how many feet you have. If you lost one (or both) in an accident and are running on those springy carbon-fiber prosthetics, more power to you!

My best was somewhere under 6:00. I ran 9 minute miles at age 30, but I did 26 of them in a row, to finish a marathon in 3:59 and something.

pretty good, but could be better. I was running a mile at 5:15 back at 13 and i had a friend who was getting 5:10. We were the fastest in my class, I am sure you are faster than most in yours.

It is good, but it is not spectacular or unbelievable. You have to be running around 5 minutes flat for it to be really good. I can run about a 5:30 mile and im a freshman in high school.

its a decent time, not great by any means, for a porker, it would be a good time, but for someone who is active and fit, its simply average, you have people running times in the low 5 mins by that age. Im not gonna drain your confidence because its a good time, its what i ran at that age, but its no where near the best. Keep up the training though, that time will drop the more you run

Yes this is a very good time you should think of joining the track team because 5:42 is like first place in Florida and you can get scholar ships in college.

that is extremely good for a 13 year old. I am 18 and only got down to a 5:54 mile in my last high school race.(might be due to the fact that I only started running my junior year) but still if you want to keep up with running, you got a good chance at making a big name for yourself

i might want to bypass with xc thats what ive finished for the perfect 5 years and a 7 30 isnt undesirable for a 13 12 months previous basically save operating frustrating at it. it took me 3 years before i somewhat were given the carry close of what i change into doing and broke out right into a sturdy runner.
