I'm not sure whether I believe in psychics, but I'm willing to keep an open mind. I was wondering if someone with psychic abilities would respond to my question in the form of a reading. It doesn't have to be anything much, I'm just going though a tough time, and I'm looking for direction. Do you ever see me getting married, having children, working a steady job? Or are these things just not meant to be for me? There are other personal things I want to discuss, but I will be satisfied whatever I can get.

So, will a psychic PLEEEEEESE help me out?

God has given us strong warnings in the Bible on the topic of whether or not we should attempt to contact the dead or other spirits. The ONLY spirit we should try to contact would be the Spirit of God.

Those who claim such abilities are either deceivers, self-deceived, and / or are under the power of demonic forces.
LEVITICUS 19:31 Do not turn to mediums or spiritualist [psychics], for you will be defiled by them. I, the Lord, am your God."

In 2 CHRONICLES 33:6 we see that consulting spiritists is foolish and angers the Lord.

And finally, in LEVITICUS 20:27 we see that anyone caught acting as a medium or psychic was subject to punishment by death...

You must turn away from this thought! God forbids it!!!

The top left card represents the first possible outcome. King of Wands: The essence of fire behaving as air, such as lightning: A great and daring leader who inspires others to rise to challenges alongside him. An artist who can take hold of an idea and make it a reality through bold action. One who is forceful, charismatic, and honest, leading by example, but unafraid to invest authority in others. A dashing and magnetic personality, carrying authority naturally, and striking at the world with swiftness and grace.

The ethical readers of the R&S section tend to not do readings through here, free or not. The reason for this is that most of us feel that it is much harder to do a reading for someone either over the phone or over the internet than it is to do one in real life. Also, the ethical readers will tell you up front that YOU determine the course of your life, all that any of us can tell you is what we see as the most likely given where you are now. I actually do give a fair amount of detail in my readings, but I also tell people not to give me any information prior to the reading so that they can determine for themselves how accurate the reading is.

If you feel you MUST get a reading from someone, I would really recommend finding someone local to you to do it

Not a good idea. The hallmark of a true psychic is one that can tell you things about your past which only you could possibly know. They cannot tell the future but can make a good guess. The power to do this is demonic.

Let me try.

Ok I see you getting married, having children, and working a steady job, but there will be some bumps in the road. Also there will be at least one death in your life. If you want to know more I don't charge cheap.

All psychics and readings are vague. And every action has a reaction so you can't predict everything that will happen becasue there are so many variables involved.

I assure you that the answer you get will be worth exactly what you're paying for it, but might I suggest that a better place to ask this question would be in the category "Alternative" under "Science and Mathematics" here on Yahoo Answers?

You can have anything you want, but first you must believe and trust in yourself. Put the past behind you. Go forward, and build the future that you want.

I would ask a simple question first.

Get them to tell you something not readily available. What is you brother's name? Or what town do you live in? Or something like that.

When they have that right, then ask them the interesting questions.

Otherwise any idiot can produce cryptic guesses.
