Do you feel comfortable going to a bar and having a good time, knowing these old drunks and young perverts are going to chat you up?

How do you deal with this when you are not interested, knowing they are drunk and if they get angry, it could make the situation worse.

What are some come backs to get these old drunks and horny drunk men off your case.

It is ok if you want sex, I guess. But if you are just there for a social outing and dress up to make yourself feel good, and you do not want to be disturbed, and you have all these men after you, how do you deal with this?

You aren't the first one to ask this...you stated what the real problem is several times....they are DRUNK...so they aren't acting with all their inhibitions intact. They will make passes, rude or suggestive remarks, and they just don't get how ridiculous they look to someone who isn't interested. They are drunk, so they don't care what you think anyway. You can't reason with them, and stooping to their level by using sarcastic comebacks will only antagonize them. Unfortunately when you go to clubs of this type, a lot of men will think you are there for a good time. The only solution really is to go to a place with a different class of patron. One where guys don't set out to get drunk or pick up girls.

If a person definetely does not want to be hit on .. then she should never go to a bar.

There are some people who will leave you alone williningly ... but then there are the ones who just won't stop, and won't go away .. and they get angy if you don't do what they want you to do . or don't want to talk to them .. they can raise a ruckus.

If you go to a bar - you are putting yourself in that place .. in a bar .. and you are taking the risks that you are talking about.

The only thing you can do, if you go to a bar, and do not want to be disturbed, is to tell the person some excuse .. like .. I prefer to be alone ... I don't want company ... go away .. or don't talk to them. There is no other way to make them leave you alone .. and even then - it may not work .. and could cause problems.

It all just a chance you wil be taking.

Well for starters, i go to the bars with my husband ;)

When i was single, and approached by men in a bar, you tell them honestly. IF you're hassling you, then tell them. Don't be afraid that you will escalate the situation, the bar tender or manager should always be near by to help. If you do tell someone to 'get lost' and are afraid you may be attacked in the parking lot, the bartender or manager can walk you out.

BE safe and have fun

Cheers

How do I deal with it? I stop going to bars! There must be somewhere else you can go to have a good time!

If you MUST go to bars, a firm "NO THANK YOU" will turn most guys off. If they are too drunk for that, ask the bouncer to help or just leave.

I deal with them by being a bi*tch. I straight up tell them to leave me alone or whatever. Tell them you have a boyfriend, don't say you are a lesbian they will just be more interested in you (I have tried that). Part of getting dressed up and hanging out at a bar is getting attention from men, whether you want it or not.

my personal favorite: Huney you'd fall in love and I'd just fall asleep. You could tell them that you are guy or that you are waiting on or husband to get out of boxing practice. I think over the years I used a little bit of everything. I work in a bar.

maybe u should stop behaving like a sl'ut and dress like one for a start? i have never experienced anything like this. if someone drunk or unpleasant or foreign from third world country comes to chat me up it usually is enough when i just look at him. i think he starts wetting his bed after that and surely he just drops off the very second. no words needed

Use your cell phone....I'm sure you have one. Just pretend to get or make a call and keep talking. He will soon get up.
