A local TJ Maxx has a small display of Chanukkah-related things. One year, I found a case of 9" tall brass hanukkiahs (chanukkim?) at Big Lots, of all places.

Places I EXPECTED to find something and was disappointed:
Macy's
JC Penney
Younkers
Smithsonian Holiday Catalog
Walgreen's

Retailers, if you are reading this, give us some choices!!!

Every store I have shopped from the grocer to Macy's has a few items - not enough to fill a wall but at least a few dreidels, some gelt, napkins, plates and so on. I have noticed some stores are carrying a wider selection this year like Target and CVS even going so far as to have "the Jewish Edition" of some games like Apples to Apples.

Have you ever heard of David's House of Judaism? I'm told the gefilte fish is to die for, but I hate gefilte fish. But the bagels, oh vey.
