Why do people believe in the "devil" when there is nothing more evil or hatefull than man? Why would an ALL loving God allow such a being? Why would God allow his children to face such a fate?

More evil than man?

Two men.

Yes, there is something more evil than man...evil itself. The Prince of Darkness and his minions. As they cannot actively do evil in the mortal world they influence men who listen to them, and in turn those men do evil and harm. God allows such a being because even the most horrible man is still God's child and still has a chance to repent of their sins. God allows such a fate simply because men can choose that fate, or the other, happier alternative.

God must accept part of the blame. Early Christian religions believed that the God of the Old Testament was actually the Devil because he acted in such wrathful ways. Turning Saul into salt simply because he turned around is quite an evil deed. Telling people to kill their families is not considered nice either. It's in the Bible, I'm not making this up.

Each one of us human beings has a free will where we can choose the life that we lead - of good or of evil. Some human beings behave better than angels while some others worse than devils. But all of us are His children. God has also ordained that we will reap what we sow. So those children of His who have faltered and done evil deeds anytime will beget a fate which may seem full of thorns. But praying to Him with a clear heart and soul can rid us of our bad Karma and make our lives full of roses.

Read your Bible and study it. Because of God giving man and angels free will, evil and sin was a result of it. God is full of light and all that is good, anything that conflicts with good is not of God. God is loving but have you ever heard of tough love? There is a time when God must condemn those who are against Him and everything he stands for. Man can be evil but there is nothing mroe evil than the thoughts of man that are influenced by satan.

Just like unicorns, dragons and the United States of America, "evil" is something that people made up. Were it not for man, there would be no such thing. It's just a human construct, nothing more.

Free will. It is up to each man. Choose life or choose death. He allows us to face such a fate so we depend upon him. I know how much I need him. Every moment of every day.

The devil does exist and God has allowed it because WE have repeatedly let God know that WE can do it on our own. Me, myself need and want God. And God is ALL LOVE, or else you wouldn't even exist to begin with.

Man makes evil. Man makes God. Man identifies the latter as the antithesis of the former. Man asks how his thesis can possibly give rise to its antithesis. Man is retarded.

Yes it is Devil. But it is 'man' who become devil and it is man who became God. It was God who was born from the womb of his mother and it is man who is born from the womb. Angels and god do not come from some other planets, so is man.
