Mine was when my son was born July 27, 2001. I just remember when the doctor told me and my wife that our son would be born deformed. Just dwelling on that thought almost made me stumble. Boy was the doctor wrong.

You do not lose your faith. If you did, it was counterfeit and never true faith.

Faith is not an easy thing. I starting "Looking for God at an extremely young age. The things that have made me lose faith are the times when I did bad things all by myself, for myself, and no one tried to stop me, and there was no punishment from "oh High". But, it's funny, because, when I had gone too far, I definitely saw the universe shut doors. Turn phones off. Take away the internet. Take away computers. Take people away. Mess with scheduling. Wake people up. Wake me up. So, I still can't say that I understand or believe in every thing that the Bible says, because it can all be summed up in "Who then can be saved?" (No one!) But, I've seen enough strange things happen to make me feel like someone more powerful than we are is still in charge of us going too far. In my opinion I have gone too far many times. But, apparently not, because I still see a guiding hand. I am sorry for those who do not. Call it God, the Universe, or karma, whatever you want. Something or Someone has always watched over my life and me, and I feel it less when I'm doing wrong things, and more when I'm doing right things.

I'm very happy for you.

It's just too bad about the thousands of other couples who actually did have deformed children (let alone the children themselves).

I guess God was on vacation all the other times.

I can - I lost it and never got it back. And I have never been happier. Looking back, I cant believe I ever had it to begin with. Definitely was thinking for myself. Instead, was thinking what others told me I should think.

My identical mirror twin died with cancer.

She came to me in a dream a week or so later and told me she was in Heaven. She described it to me. She said that she was out of pain and was very happy.

I hope you don't call that a miracle.
Miracles are all results of wrong diagnosis when the reverse happen.
