if you like sweet drinks, stick to non-alcoholic ones. do you need alcohol so badly, that you are willing to gamble with your baby's health ? anything you eat, drink, or inhale during pregnancy & nursing gets into the baby's system.

The first guy that answered is a moron. Wine coolers contain no wine. They actually say on the label in small print "Flavored Beer." Now, as far as drinking wine coolers when you are pregnant, you can do anything you like. Keep in mind that many of the things you like can negatively affect your child. Yes, you can drink them while pregnant but I would suggest otherwise. Good times!!!

It probably wouldn't actually harm the baby at this point, but why risk it? You really don't have too much longer left. I know how you feel. While I was pregnant I wanted a beer so badly. I just dipped my toung in my husband's just to get the taste and that was enough to curb me over until after I had my baby. The thing is, I don't drink much at all, I just really wanted a beer when I knew I couldn't have one though.

My sis is pregnant too and her doc told her 1 beer or 1 glass of wine is ok. But not everyday... more like once a week at the most. She drinks either beer or wine like every 2 weeks or so... not very often. Her baby is fine.
I suggest you do your research first... like asking professionals or browsing through online medical websites because you NEVER know!!

I would talk to your doctor as there is a lot of controversy surrounding whether wine during pregnancy is a good move. Gwyneth Paltrow became known for her consumption of wine during pregnancy, however, it still remains disputed.
I personally don't see a problem with having a glass for Thanksgiving, but I definitely wouldn't make it a frequent thing. Also, I think it depends heavily on what trimester you're in, the first one is very risky, so you probably shouldn't drink at all...
Again, go to a doctor, don't rely on us yahoo people.

you shouldn't drink any alcohol while pregnant!!! Ever heard of fetal alcohol syndrome? Wine coolers have alcohol in them, just not as much as hard liquors like whiskey or rum.

Okay so while they say alcohol is bad for a fetus the amount is what doctors argue about. My friend, when she was pregnant was told to drink a pint of Guinness a month to help her with iron deficiency. I think it depends however it all comes down to what you are willing to risk/gain from that drink.
