Realistically, everybody in the military gets deployed. Construction, I wouldn't turn down the idea that he will get deployed. Whether he is doing his job in a hostile area or not, that is the question. Like an earlier answer, He is Construction Third, Navy Second, and a member of the US Military First. So, they could send him anywhere.

It all depends. Theres no way you can just say that he wont ever get deployed. I mean he IS navy after all. The decision to get deployed always falls under them. Its not up to him to decide. It sucks but its the truth. But i guess it also depends. Dont know much about construction in the navy but it would seem to me that if they need someone to do construction somewhere then obviously hes always going to be on a list. its all just a matter of factors and such.

If she is doing Construction, that means she is a Sea Bee (CB - Construction Battalion). The CBs are part of the Navy Special Operations Community now, and directly support operations in the field - which means they get deployed just as much as the troops they support.

If he is in a Seabee Battalion, then the odds are really good that he will deploy to a Theater of Operations. This is what the Navy has to say.

You can't say "will" as though it is a certain thing, but it is very possible.
You are construction second, but Navy first.
