i heard this so many years ago. it so makes such sense, doesn't it?
I heard the minute you are borne, you are dying. it makes me feel unimportant to this world, yet i want to do something spectacular to leave my mark.
yep-we are borne to die.

Man, forgive me for telling you BUT you really have some serious problems with life...
Humans aren't born to die! OUrs is a finite earth: "Everything that has a beginning must have an end"...
Our time in this world is only limited and this time is our "life" making "life" more than a VIP. We are born in this world to fill our purpose which I don't know and I don't think is to die...
Wouldn't it be more pathetic to NOT DIE?! You'll understand once you experienced death face to face.

We weren't born to die.Jehovah put us on this earth to live in a beautiful paradise, but they disobeyed and we inhere ted death.,however God gave his son as a ransom sacrifice ti save all mankind and we can live forever on earth.God's purposes have not changed.after Armageddon this will all take place------it is because of Jehovah’s deep affection for humans that the battle of Armageddon has to be fought. God’s purpose is to make the earth a paradise and to elevate mankind to perfection and peace, with “no one making them tremble.” (Micah 4:3, 4; Revelation 21:4) What, then, is to be done with those who threaten the peace and security of their fellow humans? God must eliminate such “pests”—the incorrigibly wicked—for the sake of the righteous ones.—2 Thessalonians 1:8, 9; Revelation 21:8.

What's pathetic is that you think that's what we are for. No insults intended. That's a pretty grim world view. We are born because it is destined. We all are here for a reason. If you choose to believe you are born to die, then you have that right, however, no wonder why you think its grim. Its simply not the reason we are born. There is a purpose for everything and everyone. It is not just to be born to die.

You are not born just to die.
life is a gift. with this gift comes free will. you can choose to waste it or you can choose to serve your fellow man and attempt to make a difference; in your family, your community and the world.
Death is the end of a journey and the beginning of another.
live a positive life. learn something new everyday. try to teach someone something meaningful. Don't waist an opportunity.
Smile and frustrate those who would cause you sorrow.

If you were born for the sole purpose of dying, I feel bad for you. I was born to help people, have fun, and love to great lengths. I'll die, yeah, but that wasn't why I was born.

That's another reason why Atheists have no meaning for life. Our life on earth is but a drop compared to the endless ocean of eternity.

I'm sure there's a time in everyone's life when we are waited on hand and foot. The first couple years, and the last couple years. The rest, treat as a blur.

I believe we are born to do something with life that is given to us. Death just makes life ever more precious because we only have one shot to live how we want
