The main event in any Christian walk is the moment that soul has been "saved" through being "born again"... the only way that a soul can be cleansed from unholiness to walk with the Holy God as we see here in these scriptures;

JOHN 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

HEBREWS 12:14 - Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Without this, there is no valid "Christian walk."

I believe that any instances before or beyond the "born again" experience that brought on the "comfort" of someone knowing or feeling that they were a child of God... was in the event that God was there to comfort them as He promised in His word.

Once was when Satan came outside my exterior wall of my room as I slept. He placed a vision in my mind as he hovered outside the wall. It was a vision of a man and woman by a tree. He spoke and said I've been hear since the beginning of time. Then he said I know who you are calling me by my birth name. That is when it happened, a Angel of the lord struck him in the side with a Angelic dart. It shocked the crap out of him. He jumped and looked directly at the Angel who was posted out in the front of the house. It was amazing he looked directly at the angel whom I couldn't see. Then he was like a rocket ship due east. He was fast. True story.

The things in our childhood are the most vivid to remember. In old folk's homes, the old ones do not speak of their children. They speak of their parents.

I knew I was a hand-maid of the Lord when...when....well, I'm a pretty lousy hand-maid of the Lord, so whenever that calling came to me, it is cloaked in my memory. I'm not much of a person in that way. pretty selfish and all. I'm glad that you had such a nice memory though. It's a cool thing you know. Like a rock to hang on to when the wind gets rough.
