Yes, and no. It's like asking if a Tree is an Oak? Well, all oaks are trees but not all trees are oaks. Thus, Jesus is God, but everything "God" is not just "Jesus." I believe the Bible gives plenty of evidence for the Godhead -- which is Three united in One.
God the Father
God the Son (a.k.a., Jesus)
God the Holy Spirit

No. Jesus is God's Son. John 10:36. At John 17:3, Jesus called his Father Jehovah the only true God.

No.
At Mark 13:32, Jesus Christ said: “But of that day or that hour [of God’s coming execution of judgment] no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” But if the Father and the Son are coequal, how could the Son be ignorant of things the Father knows? ‘Jesus had two natures,’ some will answer. ‘Here he is speaking as a man.’ And, yet, even if that were so, what about the “Holy Ghost”? If it is the third person of the Trinity, why does it not know? A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. And the “Holy Ghost” is part of the Trinitarian chain.

yes they are. God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There are a couple ways of explaining this. the first is that they are like water. Water can be liquid, solid, or gas. all are water, but just in different forms. The next is the roles a person plays. Let's say your name is Susie. You may play the role of a sister to your little sister Jane, the role of a daughter to you parents, and the role of a mother to your children. Your still Susie, you just have different roles. The last is a clover. There are three leaves on a clover. They all make up one thing, but are three parts of that thing. Hope that helps, it can be kind of confusing.

They are, but they are not. Much like a father and a son, who are of the same blood, GOD and Jesus is of the same spirit. So like a regular family who has a last name in common, they have the 'Spirit' in common. The thing that I think brings it all in common is the 'blood'. Which brings us all in common. If not of the same family, then as the same 'substance'. Which made us able to become the 'Adopted' sons and daughters of GOD. As the bible says Christ was there from the begining with GOD. It's one of those mysteries of GOD, that time would be well spent comtemplating on it.
He is known by many names: The Alpha and the Omega; The Great 'I AM'. But there is only ONE TRUE GOD.

In John 17:3, it mentions two individuals we need to get to know. Jesus prayed to his Father on this account and referred not to himself but to his Father in heaven as "the only true God". Clearly, this is one of the many scriptural facts that show a difference between God and his Son.
Think about a father and his son. The father has authority of the child and the child has to obey his father. It's the same with God and his son. There not the same at all.

For Christians, yes.
For the two other faiths which worship the G-d of Abraham, no.
The Jewish holy scriptures specifically say that:
(a) G-d is unchanging and (b) G-d is not a man
I think Muslims believe that he was a prophet.
For everyone else on the planet, no.
Jesus is only really important for Christians and possibly Muslims. He is irrelevant to everyone else.

That leads to a very complicated and complex concept called the "trinity".
So, the answer has to be "yes and no" (according to Christians). The trinity says that God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Ghost form the "Godhead" (a 3 in 1 entity that's very hard to grasp). In some sense, they are "one and the same", yet in another sense, God the Father is "more than". As a Christian, I put my faith and trust in God's love and mercy...and take comfort in the fact that His "nature" won't be fully revealed to me until the Kingdom of Heaven.
According to islam, their answer would be "no" since muhammed, while inventing islam, specifically rejected and denied the divine nature of Jesus, Son of the one true God. It should be noted that Christians view this as blasphemy and extremely disrespectful.
According to Judaism, their answer would be "no" since (in the Christian view) God blinded them to Jesus' mission (all part of the O.T. prophecy).

Yes Jesus is God. Quoting from the bible:
Matthew 1:23 Behold a virgin shall be with child, and bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Matthew 28:18 18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.
Jesus is fully God and fully human.

Jesus is God. But God is more than just Jesus . He is also the Father and the Holy Spirit. Three Persons, One God. That teaching is the core of Christianity.
