I married my first husband even though I didn't love him. We were married for 17 years and I came to love him, but was never "in love" with him. I respected him for most of that time, but lost respect for him a few years before our marriage ended. I felt more like he was my best friend than a husband. We were in our early 20's when we married and grew up together. We are now best friends and have a wonderful son. After that marriage ended I swore I would never marry again because I didn't believe it was possible for me to ever truly love someone. Luckily for me I met my soulmate and the love of my life a year ago and we married 6 weeks ago. Marrying without love is not worth it because in the end someone gets hurt.

I see no sense in getting married when I am not in love. Unless there is a child involved....then yes, I might, just to secure a future for the child.

Of course, best way is to not have sex before marriage, then these things don't happen.

No I would not because when sex goes away looks disappear what do you have then nothing a relationship needs a solid foundation and love to make it last without love you have nothing as the older generation would say
