That weather you are Cristian or not you should not ridicule a atheist for not believing in anything you are who you are. and they should respect that fact that everybody is different

2 peter 3:3-7 " First of all, you must understand that in the last days, scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, "Where is this 'coming' He promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. "

This Verse does not come to mind when speaking with all atheists, but only those who tend to taunt and scoff at us. Also note that it says DESTRUCTION.... not eternal torment.

Ephesians 4:17-19; So this I say, and solemnly testify in [the name of] the Lord [as in His presence], that you must no longer live as the heathen (the Gentiles) do in their perverseness [in the folly, vanity, and emptiness of their souls and the futility] of their minds. Their moral understanding is darkened and their reasoning is beclouded. [They are alienated (estranged, self-banished) from the life of God [with no share in it; this is] because of the ignorance (the want of knowledge and perception, the willful blindness) that is deep-seated in them due to their hardness of heart [to the insensitiveness of their moral nature]. In their spiritual apathy they have become callous and past feeling and reckless and have abandoned themselves [a prey] to unbridled sensuality, eager and greedy to indulge in every form of impurity [that their depraved desires may suggest and demand].

3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Mine is the one That says why do you notice the sawdust in my eye but can not see the log in your own? It is in the New Testament. It is about pointing out the sins of others when we ourselves sin.
