I need advice on ways to lose weight. Healthy ways! I am so confused with all the different eating plans out there. No carbs, no meat, veggies, fruits, don't eat after 5 pm, shakes, pills, etc.....
What is the right way, is there a right way? I am 5'6", 165lbs, medium frame, pear shape, in my 30's and I am a mother. Is there a certain way I should be eating? What foods to eat or avoid? How often should I exercise? What is the best time to exercise? Morning or night?
In addition to myself, what are some healthy eating tips for kids? I also prepare all the meals for my large family. So I will have to make healthy meals that all of us will enjoy.

Avoid anything with flour, sugar, dairy, hydrogenated oils.
Eat only lean meats, grilled, steamed or baked, (never fried), and stay away from the red meat.
I eat only foods that come from the ground. Even canned fruits are good as long as they are in their own juice, not in syrup. I drink only water, no sodas or juice. Not that juice is bad, it's just more unnecessary calories. Nuts are great also as long as you don't overdo it. Make sure the are raw or dry roasted, not covered in oil and salt- the ingredients should say "Peanuts" or "Cashews"....just make sure there is no cornstarch either.
Get yourself a steamer for the veggies, and a juicer to make your own fruit smoothies.
As for exercise, start out by walking around the block everyday, up go up and down your stairs 20 times per day.

Diets don't work. Healthy eating does. Don't deny yourself but choose things lower in calories and fat. Eat in moderation. Pills don't work. Just the old fashioned eat less calories then you burn theory.
Burn calories fast by doing some cardio as many days as your schedule will allow. I prefer to run in the morning so no excuses come up at night.
Healthy eating tips: eat all the fruits and veggies you want
try and reach for lean meat
go with 100% whole grain breads
allow yourself a small splurge once a day to keep cravings down
Excersize: cardio 4 times a week for however many minutes you can (each week slightly increase this number)
tone your muscles at the gym or using household weights like food cans
Keep a food diary and figure out what causes you to fall off the health wagon
Be patient and you will be succesfull

Well, wasting weight rapid and wasting weight in a healthful method are on absolutely distinct ends of the load loss spectrum. If you shed some pounds in a healthful procedure and hold it off, this is a sluggish (however constant) approach. If you shed some pounds speedily, probabilities are that you're both now not consuming sufficient, depriving your frame of most important vitamins and minerals, workout an excessive amount of, or a blend of those. one million-two kilos every week is a healthful weight reduction target. Eat healthful meals (fruit, vegetables, complete grains, and lean protein), hold workout for a minimum of half-hour an afternoon, and quit consuming whilst you're complete. Also, keep hydrated and drink tons of water. If you do all of those matters, you must be first-class. If you desire information on healthful meals and caloric consumption, pass to mypyramid.gov. Great supply of understanding.

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

Eating healthier is one option. I'm sure you can figure out how to include more vegetables and fruits in you and your family's diet.
A better way to lose weight and keep it off is to excersize.
Join a gym. Do cardio work outs to burn extra calories/fat and do strength training to build muscle.
