Nope.
Matthew Chapter 5:11 & 44
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.

Not really, I've gotten used to it. I know that Jesus endured far worse. It does sadden me that some harden their heart and seem to be unreachable. As a Christian I understand what is at stake and fear for their eternal life. I can only hope that I may at least plant a seed that will eventually take root, or at least plowed up some of the rocky soil. (Luke 8:5-15).
Example: I am an amateur radio operator and after a meeting, had pizza with an intelligent guy that happened to be an atheist. We talked a long time. The Holy spirit brought to rememberence a great deal of things for me to say, that caused this guy to question his atheism. Several weeks later I spoke to him on the radio. He had a weak rebuttal to some of my arguments. Sad he had the rebuttles, but good that he had been stirring for several weeks about what we had discussed. I do not think he was won over at that point, but I pray that the "rocky soil " may have been plowed up a bit and that eventually he will cease resisting the Holy Spirit and come to faith. Sad by his rebuttal.....yes, because he had not yet come to faith, not because I was insulted.
I feel sorry those who do not know Jesus as their savior. Their insults.............."Father forgive them for they know not what they do"

Not any more. It shows that what I am saying is unpopular... and remember, Jesus told us that He came NOT to bring PEACE, but a SWORD.
Besides, if someone feels so adament about their bigotry, it means we've really "tweeked" something deep!
Furthermore, when atheists (in particular) spew their insults and vulgarities (I saw one last night where he referred to Jesus... um... "doing the nasty" with his DOG!... but expressed in a rather nasty way!)... it confirms that they HAVE to HATE Christianity in order to validate their own atheism. For IF they lent ANY credence to Christianity ("hey, I respect your beliefs, it gives you satisfaction.") that would mean that there "might just BE something to that Christianity" and that their non-beliefs must be called into question by comparison. So they have to hate us, or else their non-beliefs go down the drain.
Have a blessed day.

ask your self why that's only Christians that get attacked and not the different religions?!!!! Do you no longer recognize that Christians are scary retaliation and repudiation for their damaging attitudes?!! in keeping with probability if Christians stopped their illiberal, egotistical, hate crammed and bigoted postings issues could exchange!! in keeping with probability if Christians stopped eschewing training, technological understanding, evolution works of fiction and lots, lots extra issues could exchange!! in keeping with probability if Christians stopped being the only faith opposing human rights and persecuting gays, professional decision and lots extra issues could exchange!! in keeping with probability if Christians stopped stressful freedom of religion on an identical time as they deny it to all non Christians and persecute them issues could exchange!! !!! If Christians rediscovered the god of affection and forgiveness and positioned aside all those damaging human emotions issues could truly exchange!!!! Why are Christians so petrified of folk who only have not got faith in any god?!!!! truly it could only be by means of fact they are so afraid that atheist are innovations-blowing and that they are incorrect or it does no longer undertaking them!!!!!! Time for Christians to understand that that's no longer approximately god, jesus or theory yet appropriate to the damaging Christians attitudes and habit!! as quickly as they rediscover the loving god Christianity used to have and initiate up appearing like it the subject will stop!!!

Not at all....why would it ? Getting bothered just gives the devil a foothold in your life. If the world wants to ridicule me, let them- they're the ones that'll have to explain it to God one day why they chose to ignore Him...my responsibility is to love them no matter what and be as patient with them as God has been with me. I don't have time to "be bothered"...there's too much work to be done to get all weirded out because so & so said such & such....that's just a distraction the devil uses to get your eyes off Jesus....read Hebrews 12:1-3 and keep your eyes where they belong ;-)
God bless you

No. It doesn't bother me that people make fun of me for what I believe, but it does bother me that they assume I and other Christians are stupid and can't think for ourselves.
They don't know my IQ, or that I have obtained 2 Master's degrees, like many other Christians who have pursued higher education yet still choose to believe in Jesus Christ.
But I am secure in knowing that about myself so their comments are simply more of an annoyance than anything else.

Yes, it makes me angry when people's views are attacked and ridiculed--Christian and non-Christians as well. It's no fun to see others get attacked constantly by the majority, no matter where it is.

honestly, not that much. i find it sad that people are so lost. I'm almost glad though when people ridicule me. Jesus said we would face persecution if we follow Him and try to spread His message and I feel good knowing that people recognize what I'm doing even if they don't agree yet. It lets me know that I'm doing the right thing if some are resistant. I'm of course overjoyed when people respond positively, but when people are negative it just makes me all the more determined to prove my faith. It strengthens my relationship with Him to have to defend Him.

Not at all. Words cannot hurt you unless you give them the power to. Now actions are a different story.

Actually it seems to bother the ones here most when someone expresses an opinion different than their own. The ones here seem to revel in the childish spitting matches but politely express a well thought out opinion different than theirs and they block you and report you.
Heck Charles W spent most of the day posting questions to "non-believers" then systematically blocking every one of them that posted a well thought out answer. And he is far far from the first wingnut here to simply urinate on anything not his own opinion echoed.
So that was the final straw for me. I'm threw composing responses that try to bridge the gap. Screw the attempts at dialog and polite posts. Lets widen that gap and just spit at each other shall we. Lets do this thing.
SEE WHAT I MEAN? "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you" Because they live such easy lives they want to be spit on to make themselves feel less guilty about being pampered little poodles.
I GET IT NOW OKAY! I get what you guys want. You want to be spit on and reviled so you can feel good. So I say from now on I'm giving christians exactly what they want. I came here saying live and let live thinking 'who doesn't want that'.
CHRISTIANS WANT ABUSE! Why didn't you just say so. That way I wouldn't have wasted the politeness.
THANK YOU TO ALL CHRISTIANS HERE FOR SETTING ME STRAIGHT. FROM NOW ON I WILL GIVE CHRISTIANS THE SCREWING THEY WANT. NOT JUST HERE BUT WATCH OUT ANY CHRISTIAN I MEET IN REAL CAUSE NOW I KNOW WHAT YOU WANT.
