White chocolate is naturally white. It's not actually chocolate, it's made of sugar, cocoa butter and milk solids.

Here's a Wiki article on it

The easiest way to color white chocolate is with either powder or paste food coloring. Liquid food coloring doesn't work as well. Paste food coloring is easier to find than powder. If you have a Michael's or other craft shop or a bakery supply store nearby, they will have it.
If you use the paste food color, use it very sparingly because it is very strong. It will stain your hands and clothes. Dip a toothpick into the container and then dip the paste covered toothpick into your melted chocolate. Repeat until you have the desired color. Just a tip. If you are going to color the chocolate red be sure to use "no taste" red by Wilton. Because you must use a lot of the paste food color to get a true deep red, or black, or any other dark color, it can make the chocolate ( or frosting) very bitter tasting.

You can colour it with food dye. Be careful if you use a liquid dye as it can seize the chocolate. Add a few drops before you melt it if you are melting in a microwave. Otherwise melt over a pan and add a few drops slowly while still on the heat and stir. Hopefully ti won't seize on you. A cake shop or some craft stores might be able to give you a few tips and offer you the best products.
