I speak with God very casually. Very rarely I will make a formal sort of prayer but mostly it is just like talking to anyone else. I talk to him about all kinds of stuff, from spirituality to computer programming. You might think at first that He woulnd't know anything about computers but then you think; why not? In truth he had some very interesting things to say about it.
With Love,

There are many examples of both. I believe the verse pray without ceasing means have continual talks with God through out your day. When I am confessing sin it is much more formal. When I thank him it is as a loving parent

There's not really a right or wrong way, as in formal or more casual. As long as it's sincere. I think it's easier to talk like I normally do, I'm not trying to "impress" God. But some people are just more comfortable and want to pray that way, and that's fine too.

Interesting question.
I don't pray often. I give honor to the gods with offerings of mead/ale/cider and bits of food. When I do pray it's as if it's a respected and loved parent - or grandparent - not a distant and aloof entity.

absolutely not! there is NO "wrong or right" way to speak to God. I think the only 'rule', if you even want to call it that, is to be genuine in what you feel. Besides, God will know anyways, if you're not. Just the simple fact that you are trying to communicate to Him and connect to Him says something in its own.

I comply with an quantity. on an identical time as prayer is chatting with God, there is greater to it than merely talking. We might desire to additionally hear. as with all communique, prayer ought to no longer be one sided. many situations our prayers incorporate asking God for some thing, whether that's a healing for somebody ill, education by way of a confusing concern, convenience, to a myriad of different issues, we ask God to do some thing. shouldn't we additionally hear to the respond. We ask for God's will to be finished, we ought to continuously hear to what which will is. Prayer additionally should no longer purely be asking God for issues, yet in addition thanking Him for the solutions He has given us. what number situations can we petition God for some thing, yet fail to thank Him on an identical time? Jesus thanked God, Paul thanked God, so might desire to we. There must be greater to prayer than us merely chatting with God, it is likewise us listening to God.
